RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager, Electrical Distribution in Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, direct-hire assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation, and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager, Electrical Distribution

As a Project Manager in the Electric Utilities sector, you will oversee electrical distribution projects in Eastern Pennsylvania, managing all project phases from inception to closeout. You will lead projects including substation builds, line expansions, rebuilds, and equipment upgrades throughout the region.

This position requires occasional travel for on-site meetings, Monday through Friday, as dictated by project schedules. Work-from-home flexibility is available based on your experience and preferences.

As a Project Manager, Electrical Distribution YOU will:

• Work with team members to ensure full compliance with safety procedures and stop any unsafe activities as needed. Report safety compliance issues and incidents immediately.
• Drive project tasks to completion proactively and independently, taking ownership and accountability for tasks across all project stages.
• Host and attend regular project meetings to stay updated on project status and gather critical information.
• Participate in on-site field walkdowns and contribute to project goals as part of a collaborative team.
• Provide input to improve processes and procedures, maximizing team efficiency and performance.
• Occasionally climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Plan daily and strategic tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple projects.
• Willingly seek training and ask questions to supplement knowledge as needed.
• Learn and use required software systems for project management and documentation.

YOU are the ideal Project Manager candidate if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 8–10 years of project management experience, with a focus on Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage financial planning and forecasting.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe).
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6) and ability to provide schedule updates.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage simultaneous tasks and work well in a group setting.
• Willingness to travel as needed; travel and lodging costs are reimbursable.
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol testing in compliance with federal regulations; subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.

It’s a BONUS if you have:

• Previous experience with greenfield, brownfield, and equipment replacement/upgrade projects in electrical distribution.
• Familiarity with our client’s innovative approaches to project execution and continuous improvement.
