This is an entry-level position responsible for providing internal customer service and operational support across local and regional client engineering operations. This role will report to a Supervisor or Manager in a client engineering office.
• Input information accurately from a variety of sources into databases or applications to support time and expense entry, work management, invoicing, accounts payable, and expense reconciliations
• Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, and copying; may serve as receptionist
• Run reports from various tools/systems and review data for completeness and correctness
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and assist with office event planning
• Prepare and modify documents such as reports, memos, emails, and correspondence
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments; maintain office and employee calendars
• Support company and client events by coordinating catering, facilities, or vendors
• Maintain administrative reports and databases (e.g., fleet, phone lists, PPE assignment)
• Monitor and order office supplies cost-effectively
• Assist with onboarding of new employees
• Coordinate maintenance and tracking for fleet vehicles and ensure proper equipment is outfitted
• Perform other duties as assigned
• A high school diploma or GED
• 0–1 years of experience in a similar support or administrative role
• Regular and reliable attendance
• An Associate’s degree (AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school)
• Familiarity with utility or engineering office operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
