RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Gas Transmission Engineering Manager. This is a full time, direct hire, remote assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.  
 
Overview of YOUR role as a Gas Transmission Engineering  Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Discipline Manager to lead and manage key client natural gas projects. This position is responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving the growth of our project base. The Discipline Manager will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical and quality expectations.
 
As a Gas Transmission Engineering Manager, YOU will: 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and all relevant stakeholders
• Manage resource risk and ensure effective resource allocation and performance with the Project Management Office
• Review projects to ensure quality, technical precision, and compliance with company and client standards
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility
• Collaborate with the marketing team on bid proposals and pricing
• Engage with project teams to define responsibilities, scope, and schedule based on individual strengths and skill sets
• Track and analyze team performance, ensuring the successful completion of both short- and long-term goals
• Meet departmental budget objectives and make necessary adjustments to meet goals
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to team members
• Continue developing leadership skills and participate in conferences and training sessions
• Drive change, quality, and efficiency within the company through innovation and forward-thinking
• Identify and create training opportunities for team development
• Leverage industry relationships for recruiting top talent and engaging new clients
• Perform other duties as required

YOU are the ideal Gas Transmission Engineering Manager candidate if you have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in designing and managing natural gas transmission projects, including pipeline and M&R designs
• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of 5+ employees
• Strong technical knowledge of natural gas design and related codes
• Knowledge of consulting practices and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to innovate and deliver results
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working toward licensure

It’s a BONUS if you have: 

• Hands-on knowledge of computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) software is a plus
