Responsibilities:

• Understand and execute safety responsibilities, including hazard identification, equipment lockout, and emergency response.
• Inspect and repair mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, managing equipment efficiencies.
• Conduct downtime repair work, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctions, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Possess prior experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Maintain proper documentation, including logs, maintenance records, safety, and environmental reports.

Qualifications:

• Hold a 433A ticket with 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within the steel industry.
• Possess a Grade 12 High School Diploma.
• Previous experience in using computer software applicable to maintenance operations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
