Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineering Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical design engineers in developing innovative solutions for our projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead the electrical design engineering team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project management, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, and quality assurance checks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and input for proposals and client meetings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
