Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving sales targets within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned region.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to increase loyalty and retention.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in food or consumer goods
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
