Job Title: Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Auburn, AL

Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Summary:
The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will support the Quality Assurance Manager in overseeing the quality assurance operations within the company. This role involves ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in managing quality assurance staff and provide training and development as needed.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and review of product specifications and testing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in managing customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes and activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance software.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the manufacturing or production industry.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and certifications.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
