Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and supervise project teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
