Job Type: Full-time | Pay: $19.00
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation required.
This role is responsible for performing all aspects of quality testing and monitoring for production operations. The technician will analyze standard and non-standard samples to ensure materials meet or exceed established criteria and maintain accurate quality records in the system. The position requires flexibility in scheduling due to the 24/7 nature of operations.
Conduct in-process and final product testing to verify conformance to standards
Analyze samples and document quality results in databases and logs
Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, escalating when necessary
Monitor inventory of lab materials and maintain equipment calibrations
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance in the lab
Support internal communication by sharing quality data and customer sample information
Education & Experience
Associate degree in a science-related field preferred
Completion of a lab technician training program or two years of QA/QC lab experience required
Industrial/laboratory experience preferred
Skills
Ability to read and follow SOPs in English
Experience handling chemicals (acids, bases, hazardous materials)
Capable of troubleshooting instruments and maintaining a formal quality control process
Requires frequent standing, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs
Must have good vision and the ability to focus and work with fine detail
