Overview:
A leading food manufacturer is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and drive sales efforts across the East Coast of the USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet company growth goals, managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding market presence. This role calls for a strong leader with exceptional sales skills and a deep understanding of the market landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet sales targets and grow the customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to leverage them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in sales management, with a proven success record in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
