Sr Quality Assurance Manager Our client, a leading producer of premium RTE meat products, seeks a highly qualified Director of Quality Assurance to oversee multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, quality assurance leadership, and a deep understanding of food safety regulations.Qualifications:

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• Required: 5+ years of senior leadership experience in Quality Assurance within a food processing environment
• Preferred: Experience in a multi-site food processing environment
• Preferred: Experience developing and implementing SQF programs
• Required: Strong knowledge of Quality Control processes
• Required: Experience with internal and external auditingResponsibilities:
• Oversee and implement Quality Control policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government regulations.
• Lead the plant’s SQF certification program.
• Conduct customer audits and annual SQF audits.
• Develop and maintain the HACCP plan and train plant personnel on quality programs.
• Collaborate with the USDA on preoperational and operational inspections.
• Develop and maintain robust quality control systems/programs, including Pest Control, Self-Inspection, Supplier Management, Safety, Microbial Testing, and Defense.
• Perform pre-shipment reviews, CCP validations, and report on deficiencies related to GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs.
• Conduct microbiological testing on finished products, environmental, and direct food contact surfaces.
• Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
• Oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.Benefits:
