ProspectBlue is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization to identify a hands-on, strategic Chief Financial Officer to join their growing team.

This is a 100% remote opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys being more than just the numbers person. This CFO will play a key role in building the financial infrastructure, systems, analytics, and operational strategy needed to support continued growth.

The organization is doing meaningful work in the healthcare space, providing whole-person care to individuals with complex needs. They are looking for someone who is energized by the mission, comfortable in a startup/high-growth environment, and willing to roll up their sleeves and build.

What You’ll Do:
• Own financial strategy, FP&A, forecasting, cash management, treasury, and reporting
• Lead and optimize the full revenue cycle management (RCM) process, including billing, collections, denials, payer performance, and contracting
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on growth strategy, fundraising, and long-term financial planning
• Use data and analytics to drive decisions across Growth, Clinical, Product, and Operations
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, reimbursement, and overall business performance
• Lead the integration of financial, operational, and healthcare technology systems
• Build scalable finance processes and infrastructure across a growing, multi-site organization
• Support healthcare economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and demonstrate the financial and social impact of the organization’s care model
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering accountability and collaboration

What We Are Looking For:
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role
• Healthcare finance experience is a must — behavioral health, complex care, or similar environments are a strong plus
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and RCM
• Experience with multi-site healthcare operations and/or a high-growth startup environment
• Experience implementing healthcare technology, EHRs, financial systems, and/or integrated data platforms
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions
• A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable getting into the weeds and building processes from the ground up
• Collaborative, low-ego leadership style and the ability to work effectively across departments
• Experience managing and developing teams
• MBA, CPA, or similar advanced finance/accounting credential preferred
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
