ProspectBlue is  helping a well-established construction company in the Charlottesville area find their next Project Manager to lead projects from kickoff through closeout.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives on keeping projects safe, on schedule, and on budget — and who's just as comfortable building relationships with owners and GCs as they are walking a job site.

What you'll own:

• Full project lifecycle management — from scope review and handoff through final completion
• Budgets, cost codes, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change order pricing/negotiation
• Submittals, RFIs, and project scheduling (with regular client updates)
• Payment applications, invoicing, and cost-to-complete forecasting
• Field process oversight — two-week look-aheads, daily huddles, safety compliance
• Coordinating closely with Operations, Estimating, and field superintendents
• Mentoring and evaluating Field Engineers, Project Engineers, and Assistant PMs

What it takes:

• Strong grasp of contract compliance and construction documentation
• Comfort splitting time between the office and active job sites
• Willingness to work around equipment, weather, and standard PPE requirements
• A collaborative, communicative approach — this role touches nearly every part of the business
