Job Description

ProspectBlue is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise accounting and operational platforms within a fast-paced law firm. This individual will serve as a key resource for financial systems support, reporting, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with finance teams, firm leadership, and business stakeholders to support day-to-day operational and system-related needs
• Manage month-end financial system activities, including support for billing adjustments, rate exception processing, and close-cycle functions
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, custom reports, and data requests for accounting and operational teams
• Troubleshoot system issues, data inconsistencies, and workflow interruptions across financial applications
• Support ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of the firm’s financial management platforms
• Participate in system upgrades, testing initiatives, and process improvement projects
• Identify automation opportunities and implement efficiencies through reporting tools, scripting, and workflow enhancements
• Provide responsive operational support outside standard business hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting financial or accounting systems in a professional services environment
• Prior experience within the legal industry is strongly preferred
• Hands-on expertise with Elite 3E is highly desired; comparable experience with Aderant may also be considered
• Advanced SQL and reporting experience required
• Proficiency with Power BI is essential
• Exposure to Python or PowerShell scripting is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and thrive in a high-accountability environment
Work Arrangement
• This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and two remote workdays per week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are designated in-office collaboration days for all employees.
