ProspectBlue is looking for a Senior Buyer to join a growing supply chain team in the medical device manufacturing space.

This role is a key driver of supplier strategy, cost optimization, and material flow — working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations.

What you'll own:

• Managing a direct material supply base across cost, quality, delivery, and lead time
• Negotiating supplier terms and driving Total Cost of Ownership improvements
• Resolving quality and delivery issues and leading root cause/corrective action processes
• Building and maintaining supplier scorecards and KPI dashboards
• Supporting new product introductions and engineering changes for purchased materials
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulatory documentation requirements
• Partnering with Planning to align procurement demand with production and inventory needs

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 3+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain
• Manufacturing or medical device supply chain experience preferred
• Strong track record in cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and performance improvement
• ERP/MRP system experience and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling, PowerBI a plus)
• A detail-oriented, data-driven mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
