Job Description

ProspectBlue seeks a Recruiter for their client in Richmond, VA!

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and recruit qualified CDL and non-CDL drivers through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, job fairs, etc.)

  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and evaluate driver qualifications based on company standards and DOT regulations.

  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, MVR checks, and orientation scheduling.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Partner with operations and safety teams to ensure a smooth transition from hire to driver deployment.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting driver hiring.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.

  • Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA hiring regulations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Tenstreet, etc.)

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
