ProspectBlue seeks a Recruiter for their client in Richmond, VA!
Source and recruit qualified CDL and non-CDL drivers through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, job fairs, etc.)
Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and evaluate driver qualifications based on company standards and DOT regulations.
Coordinate and manage the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, MVR checks, and orientation scheduling.
Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
Partner with operations and safety teams to ensure a smooth transition from hire to driver deployment.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting driver hiring.
1–3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA hiring regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Tenstreet, etc.)
