ProspectBlue is partnering with a leader in the commercial and industrial storage solutions industry to hire an experienced Account Executive. This individual will run their own desk, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, while building long-term client relationships across sectors like higher education, military, municipal, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Own the entire sales process — prospecting, discovery, presentations, estimating, proposals, and closing.
Develop tailored solutions to meet clients’ storage and space-optimization needs.
Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of new and existing customers.
Collaborate closely with internal design, project management, and installation teams to ensure project success.
Respond to RFPs and bid opportunities with accurate, detailed submissions.
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and participate in industry events to expand presence.
Mentor and collaborate with Business Development Representatives to drive overall sales performance.
Qualifications
4+ years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, equipment, or facility systems.
Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and consultative sales.
Strong technical aptitude and solution-selling mindset.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-starter with ability to manage an independent sales desk.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
Based in or near Richmond, VA with regional travel as needed.
