ProspectBlue seeks a motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our client’s business in the commercial and government storage systems industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who’s eager to learn, build relationships, and develop into a full-cycle sales professional.
Responsibilities
Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities across markets including government, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate and schedule qualified meetings for senior sales staff.
Manage lead tracking, CRM updates, and pipeline activity.
Support proposal preparation, RFP responses, and client presentations.
Collaborate with senior sales and project teams to ensure seamless client handoffs.
Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company when needed.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or business development (B2B preferred).
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
Comfortable with outbound outreach and self-driven work.
Interest in technical or solution-based sales (construction, design, or facility systems experience a plus).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation
Base salary plus commission and performance incentives.
