ProspectBlue has partnered with a client in Midlothian, VA seeking to hire a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support a ERP conversion. This role will focus on ensuring data integrity during migration, assisting with system configuration, and supporting training and process documentation. Prior CMIC experience is a plus but not required. This is a contract role for a 6-8 month project.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate data migration from Sage 300 to CMIC, ensuring accuracy and completeness (primary responsibility).

Partner with consultants to assist in CMIC configuration (e.g., security set-up, data entry, and system template updates).

Coordinate and proactively manage the training schedule in collaboration with the Training & Development Coordinator and CFO.

Support the creation and refinement of procedure manuals to document new processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

4+ years of progressive accounting experience (senior accountant level or above).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and system conversions.

Experience with ERP systems; Sage 300 or CMIC exposure is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
