Job Description

ProspectBlue is looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to lead and execute initiatives across digital marketing channels—including web, search, email, social media, and paid campaigns. This essential team member will play a key role in ensuring digital efforts align with performance goals, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements through process optimization, testing, and data-driven reporting. Our client is seeking someone who is analytical, detail-focused, and self-directed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across digital platforms, including email, social media, and paid channels

  • Conduct A/B tests regularly to refine campaign performance and engagement

  • Evaluate and report on campaign outcomes, offering insights and recommendations for optimization

  • Use marketing automation tools to build effective strategies around segmentation, customer journeys, and communication cadence

  • Coordinate with our web development agency to set production priorities and uphold content quality

  • Collaborate with IT to support and maintain core MarTech tools

  • Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing, bringing forward new ideas for implementation


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent work experience

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment

  • Strong interest in data analytics and performance metrics

  • Resourceful and solution-focused, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of meeting deadlines

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Team-oriented mindset with experience working cross-functionally

  • Proficient with social media, marketing automation, and CRM tools

  • Familiarity with key digital tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, LinkedIn Ads, Moz, etc., is a plus

  • Willingness to work on-site in Richmond, VA, with light email communication expected outside of regular hours
