ProspectBlue is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join a growing team in Richmond! In this role, you’ll support the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. What you’ll do:

• Assist with month-end close and financial statement prep

• Help manage AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger activities

• Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP

• Contribute to process improvements and team growth

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

• Positive attitude and team player mindset
