About the Role:
As a Universal Banker, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and support to customers. This hybrid position blends the functions of both a teller and personal banker—meaning you’ll assist with everyday transactions, open new accounts, and help customers find the right financial products to meet their needs.
What You’ll Do:
Handle routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
Open and maintain checking, savings, CDs, and other types of personal and business accounts
Provide knowledgeable support and guidance on financial products including credit cards, personal loans, and online banking tools
Resolve customer concerns and troubleshoot account issues with professionalism and efficiency
Engage in meaningful, consultative conversations to identify needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions
Support overall branch operations while ensuring compliance with all regulations and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 1 year of experience in banking, customer service, or sales preferred (internships or campus roles welcome!)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate various banking systems and tools
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining customer privacy and financial security
Self-motivated team player who can adapt in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
