ProspectBlue is partnered with a fast-growing, people-first CPA firm in their search for an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to join their team in Richmond, VA.

The Audit & Assurance Manager will lead multiple client engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client assurance engagements across diverse industries while managing timelines and budgets
  • Maintain strong client communication to set expectations and deliver high-quality service
  • Coach, mentor, and train staff; provide performance feedback throughout engagements and during annual reviews
  • Participate in client management and practice development activities
  • Collaborate on special projects and firm initiatives as needed
  • Attend professional development sessions, networking events, and industry seminars regularly

Qualifications:

  • CPA required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant public accounting experience, with a focus in assurance
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services
