Job Title: Software Engineer / Systems Analyst

Location: Des Moines, IA or Sioux Falls, SD - Remote potential

Duration: Full Time / Direct Placement

Pay: 115-130k + 13% bonus and 17% stock over base plus bonus

What You’ll Be Doing

As a System Analyst – Integration Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring data flows reliably across major enterprise systems like Salesforce, MuleSoft APIs, the FAST platform, and operational data stores (ODS). You’ll gather integration requirements, design data mappings, test APIs and ETL pipelines, and help support and maintain data quality across complex systems. This role blends analysis, QA, and system design skills, and sits at the center of our cross-functional delivery team.

 Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document API/data integration requirements from business stakeholders

• Define integration flows and maintain data mappings between systems like FAST, MuleSoft, Salesforce, ODS

• Create test plans and validate data transformations, API behavior, and ETL logic

• Analyze API specifications, data models, and SQL queries for quality and accuracy

• Use tools like Postman, Kibana, and AppDynamics to test and troubleshoot integration issues

• Assist developers and product teams in supporting Salesforce integrations and backend data workflows

• Provide production support and log analysis for integration issues

• Maintain documentation of logic, mappings, test plans, and business rules

• Translate business processes into integration solutions that are scalable and maintainable

• Support Salesforce admin tasks (user setup, workflows, security, automation, etc.)

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years in integration-focused roles (Integration Analyst, Technical Analyst, QA/BA in API environments)

• Strong experience with MuleSoft APIs, Salesforce integrations/admin, and FAST platform (ideal)

• Proficient in SQL, data mapping, ETL processes, and troubleshooting data movement

• Familiar with tools like Postman, SoapUI, Kibana, AppDynamics

• Comfortable working across business and dev teams to bridge requirements and system solutions

• Knowledge of QA testing, impact analysis, and post-deployment validation

• Agile mindset; SAFE Agile experience is a plus

• Background in insurance/financial services preferred
