Front-End Engineer

P3+Uplift is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading organization currently restructuring their Product organization within Non-Qualified IT to align with their 2024 strategic goals. As new product teams are established, they've identified skill and capacity gaps — and are bringing on a contractor to help strengthen their customer-facing web applications and long-term development efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Join a small, agile scrum team (typically fewer than 6 engineers) and attend daily stand-ups

• Build and enhance customer-facing web applications using Angular and/or React

• Develop clean, testable front-end code with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Support and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot and REST APIs

• Provide consultation and support to internal stakeholders as needed

Tech Stack

Frontend: Angular and/or React, JavaScript, TypeScript
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
Cloud & DevOps: AWS, GraphQL, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
Database: SQL Server
Testing: Strong emphasis on automated testing

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Salesforce (Admin or Developer experience)

• Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD tools

• Strong SQL/database management skills

Candidates with solid experience in object-oriented programming and JavaScript who can demonstrate transferable skills are also encouraged to apply.

Role Details

• Contract Length: 6 months to start, with strong potential for extension

• Location: Open to fully remote, hybrid (if local), or on-site

• Team Size: Small, highly collaborative team

• Conversion to Full-Time: Not expected at this time

• Leadership Responsibilities: None – this is an individual contributor role
