Job Description

Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer – SailPoint IIQ (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to support our client’s enterprise identity governance initiatives. This role will focus on the administration and enhancement of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) within a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM, hands-on experience with SailPoint, and the ability to support both daily operations and ongoing system development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain SailPoint IIQ: Apply patches, deploy updates, and manage system performance in an OnPrem environment.

  • Application onboarding: Set up and configure new applications within IIQ, establish system connections, and ensure secure access data integration.

  • System customization and development: Leverage JavaBean and BeanShell scripting to build and enhance rules, workflows, and automated tasks.

  • Continuous improvement: Identify and implement optimizations to improve system functionality and user experience.

  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with IT and business units to support access governance and compliance initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in information security with a strong emphasis on Identity & Access Management.

  • 2–3 years of experience administering SailPoint IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud, including SSD deployments and scripting with BeanShell.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.


Preferred Experience:

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) implementation.

  • Familiarity with Varonis or similar tools supporting IAM.

  • Background in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or regulatory compliance.
