P3+Uplift an Executive Search firm with clients nationwide is partnering with a rapidly growing Financial institution in the search for a Technology Leader. Our client is focused on building and integrating it's core financial systems with private label customer facing applications to ensure ease of use and seamless transactions. The position will lead a small team of Software Developers including configuration analysts. The Engineering Manager will have experience as a formal manager leading development teams and have experience leading architecture.
The Engineering Manager will report to Executive Leadership. The target annual salary for this position is $145,000 and will include annual bonus and a generous benefits package. Perks tuition reimburment and also a 50% hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, implementing, and supporting custom internal solutions which includes the strategy and roadmap planning.
- Focus on enhancing our clients core platform used for enterprise applications.
- Utilize best practices and standards to enhance the enterprise application development.
- Work collaboratively with technology and business stakeholders while maintaining a close working relationship to product management.
- Ensure engineering teams including external software vendors security standards are adhered to.
- Schedule and oversee code reviews on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience; B.S., Computer Science preferred.
- 3 years’ experience preferred working as a manager or technical lead in a financial, banking or investment company.
- Experience with Jack Henry and Alkami software
- Experience in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices.
- Experience in leadership and people management experience with an emphasis on coaching, mentoring, guiding and motivating team members on project and product delivery and career / professional development.
- Ability to influence executive leadership.
- Understands the principles of project management practices in an agile and iterative project management methodology.
