Job Description

Our client, Pride of Place, is a boutique Alhambra studio transforming high-end properties into beautifully curated spaces. While the finished homes are visual, the real magic happens behind the scenes—that’s where you come in. We’re looking for an Operations Administrator who thrives at the center of it all—keeping projects moving, teams connected, and every detail in rhythm. You are the heartbeat of the studio, making sure all the moving pieces come together seamlessly.

The Experience We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of operations experience in a small business or creative studio—AP/AR, payroll, contracts, logistics, the whole package
  • Solid QuickBooks skills—you’ll own daily bookkeeping and follow through quickly
  • Clear, professional communication—polished, concise, and error-free
  • Comfort with Notion, StageForce, and Connecteam
  • A proactive approach—you close loops quickly and catch things before they slip

This isn’t just logistics—it’s keeping the studio humming. When you do your job well, designers can dream bigger, crews can execute confidently, and every project comes together effortlessly. You’re not just supporting the team—you’re elevating the work the studio is known for.

What You’ll Own

  • Operations & Details: You’re smart, flexible, and calm under pressure. Plans change, timelines shift, curveballs appear—you adjust, make the right call, and keep momentum moving.
  • Financials: Daily QuickBooks bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll processing. You keep the books accurate and current so the studio can make real decisions with real data.
  • Projects: Every project from contract to completion—billing, staging logistics, the works. You ensure everything is done correctly before anything rolls out.
  • Communication: You’re the connective tissue between clients, vendors, and the team. Everything you send is polished, professional, and on point.
  • Systems: You keep platforms running smoothly, find ways to improve processes, and streamline workflows so the team can work efficiently.
  • People: You assist with HR policies, onboarding new team members, and speak up when you see something that needs attention.

If you’re driven, resourceful, and thrive in an environment where no two days look the same, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
