Job Description

Are you a motivated professional with a passion for urban planning and real estate development? Do you thrive on organization, detail, and keeping multiple projects on track? If so, we want you to join our team as an Executive Assistant in Los Angeles!

In this role, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative and supportive team, with opportunities to grow and develop into a Project Manager.

About Us

Established in 2014, Nūr is a land use consulting firm that helps real estate developers navigate Los Angeles' complex regulatory processes. From strategy and entitlement filings to permits and approvals, we manage 20–30 active, long-term projects spanning residential and commercial developments.

Our work bridges the gap between politics, design, finance, and lobbying. While property management is a smaller part of what we do, we aim to expand this division as we continue to grow.

About You

You’re a polished professional who thrives in small office environments where collaboration and wins are celebrated. You’ve been recognized for your ability to balance big-picture strategy with a meticulous eye for detail, and you have a natural sense of urgency that keeps projects moving forward.

Your strengths include:

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Clear and effective communication.
  • A proactive and independent approach to your work.
  • Confidence, intelligence, and sound judgment paired with high emotional intelligence.
  • A commitment to ethics, integrity, and excellent customer service.

You excel at staying ahead of the curve, ensuring smooth operations, and acting as the steady hand your team can rely on.

About the Role

As our Executive Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative and project support, keeping our team focused and our projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage phone calls, emails, calendars, and tasks for the Principal and Senior Project Manager.
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure follow-through on critical tasks.
  • Occasionally run light business errands (e.g., returning packages).

Project Support:

  • Assist in preparing entitlement packages and coordinating proposals and bids.
  • Draft, edit, and summarize real estate and development application documents.
  • Research and organize supporting documentation for projects.
  • Maintain organized files and ensure proper nomenclature for documents.
  • Use tools like ClickUp for project timelines and QuickBooks for budgets and invoicing.

Property Management Support:

  • Occasionally oversee property management tasks, including inspecting common spaces and collecting laundry coins.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting a real estate developer, investor, engineering firm, or construction company.
  • Strong interest in urban planning and real estate development.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Adobe, ClickUp, and QuickBooks.

The Details

  • Salary: $70,000–$85,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities.
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (in-office).
  • Benefits: Paid time off, medical benefits contribution, and 401(k) after the vesting period.
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA (90035). You must live within a 45-minute commute to Olympic/Robertson and have your own car, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity. All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
