Job Description

Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group Inc has an immediate opening for a Network and Voice Engineer for one of our Southeastern regional MSP to provide remote support to their clients. The qualified individual will monitor, manage and support client technologies through various tools and systems. Primary focus is on networking, routing, firewalls, wireless, and VoIP troubleshooting and remediation. This is an escalation position within the department for tickets that need a senior network resource.  Additionally, this position will assist in network project deployment and remote set up and configuration.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of hands-on working experience supporting hardware, and software relating to switches, routers, AP’s, firewalls and VoIP phones.
• Experience working with third party vendors, contractors, and providers to assist customers with service outages.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
• Hands on network equipment support.
• Current CCNA and/or CCDA certification a plus
• Windows Server experience: 2012 and above a plus 
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN or GREEN CARD HOLDER. No C2C Candidates will be considered as client will not provide sponsorship

Job Duties

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
• Configure and setup SonicWall, Fortinet and Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances for access to vital business applications.
• Design, setup and configure Dell, Aruba, Ruckus and Ubiquiti complex switching environments.
• Design, setup and configure Aruba, Ruckus and Ubiquiti complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking
• Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.
• Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
• Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with
  established objectives.
• Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
• Supervising the administration of systems and servers related networks to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
• Any other related duties as assigned by management.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve business applications and systems performance, connectivity, and related problems. 
• Provide escalated technical analysis to clients to include general troubleshooting, logging, analysis, and various system settings.
• Assist other departments with technical assistance and information as needed.
• Contribute to the career development of junior staff through mentoring and training.
