Job Description

In this role, you will contribute to maintaining and troubleshooting automation products, as well as providing installation, commissioning, and technical support for automation systems in substations. You will work in collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations and integration of systems.

Essential Functions:

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of automation products in the field.
• Installation and commissioning of automation systems in substations.
• Providing technical support for customers (by telephone, online, and on-site).
• Clarifying root causes of faults in collaboration with internal specialist departments.
• Conducting training sessions on products at customer premises or remotely.
• Integrating products into customer systems (e.g., SCADA) for transformer operators, including troubleshooting.
• Developing Modbus systems on the transformer to integrate various sensors.
• Preparing service reports and customer documentation.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction in service, consolidating feedback, and reporting to headquarters on the assigned portfolio.

What do we expect from you?

• You have an engineering degree in automation/electrical engineering or a degree as an electrician, mechatronics engineer, or electro-mechanic.
• You have experience and enjoy working with digitalization in an industrial environment, ideally in substations and on power transformers, and can inspire customers about it.
• You have a strong technical understanding and excellent manual skills.
• You are meticulous and independent in your work approach.
• Reliability and customer orientation are key qualities.
• Ideally, you have experience in the commissioning of complex electrical systems.
• Experience with SCADA systems in substations is desirable.
• Very good knowledge of English is desirable.
• Willingness to travel more than 50%, both nationally and internationally.
