Service Specialist Automation Technology, Remote w/ Travel

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for automation products in the field to ensure optimal performance.

Installation & Commissioning: Lead the installation and commissioning of automation systems in substations, ensuring seamless integration.

Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support to customers through various channels, including phone, online, and onsite visits.

Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve the root causes of faults, ensuring minimal downtime.

Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for customers on product use, either remotely or on-site.

System Integration: Integrate our products into customer systems (e.g., SCADA) and develop Modbus systems to support transformer operators.

Documentation: Prepare detailed service reports and customer documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective service, and report feedback to headquarters.
Must-Have Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., electrician, mechatronics).

Experience: Proven experience in industrial digitalization, particularly in substations and on power transformers.

Technical Proficiency: Strong technical understanding with hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.

Customer Orientation: Exceptional reliability and a customer-focused approach, with a proven track record of successful service delivery.

Travel: Willingness to travel more than 50%, both nationally and internationally.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Commissioning Experience: Prior experience in commissioning complex electrical systems.

SCADA Systems: Familiarity with SCADA systems in substations.

Language Skills: Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.
