Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will support production processes and machines, working as part of a team of engineers to develop and maintain manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups.
- Document process changes to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Maintain engineering documentation, including control plans and tool lists.
- Troubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts to ensure quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- G-code writing capability.
- Experience with precision grinding and/or honing.
- CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) experience.
Typical Task Breakdown:
- Provide support to machine operators for resolving machine faults, performing recoveries, and setting up machines.
- Document any changes in processes to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure engineering documentation, such as control plans and tool lists, is up-to-date and accurate.
- Identify and correct issues causing nonconforming parts, ensuring product quality.
