Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and quantity take-offs.
- Proficiency in costing electrical scopes of work and managing cost packages within software systems.
- Strong relationship-building skills with trade partners, clients, and consultants.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents like blueprints and specifications.
- Experience with software such as Assemble, BIM 360, or other Revit model engagement software preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive bid proposals for electrical projects.
- Train and guide junior estimators in creating detailed take-offs and bid processes.
- Ensure material compliance with specifications and resolve design-related issues to keep projects on track.
- Assist in negotiating project bids, estimating costs, and purchasing materials.
- Actively participate in project kickoff meetings and maintain ongoing communication with project and general managers to assess project progress.
- Conduct job closeout reviews and maintain a historical database for future reference and quality control.
