Electrical Estimator

Locations: Salem, Oregon Area or Phoenix, Arizona Area
Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and quantity take-offs.
• Proficiency in costing electrical scopes of work and managing cost packages within software systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills with trade partners, clients, and consultants.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents like blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with software such as Assemble, BIM 360, or other Revit model engagement software preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive bid proposals for electrical projects.
• Train and guide junior estimators in creating detailed take-offs and bid processes.
• Ensure material compliance with specifications and resolve design-related issues to keep projects on track.
• Assist in negotiating project bids, estimating costs, and purchasing materials.
• Actively participate in project kickoff meetings and maintain ongoing communication with project and general managers to assess project progress.
• Conduct job closeout reviews and maintain a historical database for future reference and quality control.
