Senior Global Product Manager

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical experience with load tap-changers and transformers.
  • Marketing experience or close collaboration with marketing on product launches and management is a plus.
  • Deep technical understanding of electrical and mechanical principles of load tap-changers, transformers, and power grids.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel globally (25-50% travel, depending on location).
  • Experience in committee work is a bonus.

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Global Product Manager to take ownership of our bolt-on load tap-changer product portfolio. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, from understanding market requirements to prioritizing development roadmaps and creating compelling sales content. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of load tap-changers and transformers, supporting sales teams in complex customer interactions and representing the company in technical standards committees.

Preferred Locations:

  • Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Charlotte (CLT), or Humboldt, TN; remote work possible with extensive travel


Responsibilities:

  • Own global product management for bolt-on load tap-changers across the entire product lifecycle.
  • Analyze market requirements and prioritize development roadmaps for the product portfolio.
  • Develop and distribute convincing sales arguments and content through sales channels.
  • Provide technical training to sales colleagues and support in complex customer interactions.
  • Monitor commercial development (volumes, prices, quality issues, costs, etc.) and coordinate necessary adjustments.
  • Represent the company in committee work, contributing to the advancement of technical standards.
