Full-Time | Advanced Commercial HVAC Role
We're looking for a highly experienced Level 5 Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our elite field service team. This is a senior-level position for seasoned technicians who can independently diagnose, service, and maintain a broad range of complex commercial HVAC systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to safety, customer service, and system reliability.
Perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on:
Direct-expansion systems up to 5 tons
Gas-fired and electric heating systems
Low-voltage (24V/1–10V) control systems
Air handlers and duct systems
Observe operations, read gauges/instruments, and make real-time adjustments
Replace or repair defective components and troubleshoot performance issues
Escalate critical equipment or customer concerns to the supervisor promptly
Follow all safety protocols, documentation procedures, and company standards
Maintain professionalism while operating in commercial environments
Service and repair of:
Air- and water-cooled chillers (reciprocating, scroll, screw)
Packaged water-cooled units (up to 100 tons)
Hydronic systems and pumps with variable speed drives
Digital and pneumatic controls (DDC, modular, electronic)
VAV systems, WSHPs, and CRAC units
Atmospheric gas-fired hot water boilers
Computer room systems with built-in humidification
Ability to independently manage complex service tasks with minimal supervision
High school diploma or GED (Trade school preferred)
10+ years of commercial HVAC experience
EPA Universal Certification (Required)
VA and/or WV Tradesman or Master’s License (Required)
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
