Contract Coordinator- Legal Support
Austin, TX


We’re looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Contract Coordinator to keep our contracts and cases on track. In this role, you’ll be the link between our internal project control team and outside counsel, making sure deadlines are met, risks are flagged, and documents are in order. Role & Responsibility
  • Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and contract databases.
  • Monitor and track the progress of legal proceedings and dispute matters.
  • Draft internal reports and concise summaries of ongoing cases.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and outside counsel.
  • Identify and summarize key risks, obligations, and deadlines with accuracy.
  • Review and analyze terms and conditions in construction-related contracts.
  • Support the preparation and review of bidding documents in procurement.
  • Assist the legal team with process improvements and strategic initiatives related to construction law and contracts.

Qualifications

  • 2 years+ of experience in legal support, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive mindset with an interest in career growth in contract management and the construction sector.
  • Familiarity with Texas construction laws and dispute resolution processes strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to new subject areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Paralegal Certification or Certified Litigation Support Professional (CLSP).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, civil litigation, or insurance claims.
  • Experience with AAA (American Arbitration Association) arbitration.
  • Prior experience supporting large projects within a corporate or legal setting.
  • Familiarity with AIA contract forms.
