Overview:
We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee cleanroom installations, electrical upgrades, and mechanical retrofits. This role starts out hands-on in the field and grows into a leadership position managing full jobsite operations. You will supervise in-house crews and subcontractors, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily field operations for cleanroom, mechanical, and electrical projects
Supervise crews, subcontractors, and in-house staff with support from a lead superintendent and PMs
Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards (active facilities and new builds)
Assist with project scheduling, basic cost tracking, and documentation
Communicate with clients as needed to provide updates and resolve issues
Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in jobsite meetings and support service-type design/build projects
Train and mentor team members on best practices and company standards
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in construction, mechanical, or electrical trades; supervisory experience preferred
Degree or trade certification in mechanical/electrical fields OR equivalent hands-on experience
Cleanroom experience a plus; will provide internal training
Controls/automation knowledge a bonus but not required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams effectively
Basic project scheduling skills (cost/budget exposure a plus)
Workload & Environment:
Local projects with potential for travel if desired
40-hour work week with potential overtime
Mix of active facilities and new construction projects
Compensation & Perks:
Starting at $35/hour and up depending on experience
