Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to support floor-level safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures OSHA compliance, drives proactive hazard prevention, and leads safety training and incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety walk-throughs and risk assessments

• Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with supervisors

• Lead safety meetings and training sessions

• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and hazardous waste management

• Track safety metrics and recommend program improvements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (OSHA 511 training preferred)

• 2+ years supervisory experience in safety or manufacturing

• Knowledge of hazard recognition, mitigation, and compliance standards

• Strong communication and coaching skills
