Commercial HVAC Service Technician-Elkin, NC

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as senior-level field technician and provide mentoring support to junior techs

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Lead service crew allocation and ensure timely, complete, and cost-effective project completion

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics

• Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and subcontractors

• Represent the company professionally at job sites and meetings

• Ensure completion of all required documentation, tool/material requests, and revisions

• Be available for emergency or after-hours service as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5-10+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems

• EPA Universal Certification

• Valid Driver’s License

• Strong background in HVAC service tools, brazing, combustion analysis, and electrical diagnostics

• Ability to lead, mentor, and hold others accountable

• Able to lift 60 lbs and work from heights/ladders

Education & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED (Trade school preferred)

• Exceptional problem-solving and technical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team

• Knowledge of hand and power tools, recovery units, metering devices, and specialty HVAC tools
