HRIS Analyst III (Workday)

Location: Remote – U.S. Only (U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders; no sponsorship)
Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 base salary

What You Will Be Doing

  • Workday Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, test, and administer Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking), ensuring seamless system functionality.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design, build, and maintain complex Workday reports and dashboards (Report Writer, BIRT), leveraging EIBs and integrations for HR data insights.
  • Upgrade & Project Leadership: Lead Workday release upgrades, enhancements, and feature rollouts—plan, execute, and validate changes through end-to-end testing (UAT and SIT).
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Perform regular audits, data reconciliations, and system health checks to uphold data accuracy, security, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years focused on Workday implementations and support
  • Deep expertise in Workday HCM modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking
  • Proven ability with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Web Services) and advanced report writing
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and experience with change-management in HR systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at collaborating with technical and non-technical partners

Other Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation, training materials, and knowledge-base articles
  • Serve as primary support for Workday ticket triage, troubleshooting, and resolution
  • Monitor Workday Community for best practices, new features, and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects, system enhancements, and data governance initiatives
