Sales & Branch Operations Manager (Columbus, OH)
Step in as the leader of our Columbus branch, overseeing all facets of branch operations—from sales and client relations to team leadership and financial performance. Operating with around 25 employees, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and significantly impact growth.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth by developing new business across commercial HVAC, refrigeration, building automation, and more—leveraging your mechanical expertise.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Oversee branch operations: staffing, budgets, forecasting, and profit & loss accountability.
- Coach, train, and mentor the team (technicians, sales reps, support staff).
- Collaborate closely with corporate support and other regional branches to share best practices and leverage resources.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales or operations leadership experience in a mechanical/HVAC or related field.
- Mechanical understanding—able to speak credibly with technicians and customers in the field.
- Entrepreneurial drive and the willingness to spend significant time in the field (cold visits, jobsite meetings, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
- Results-oriented: able to meet revenue targets and manage branch profitability.
