Controls Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Type: Full-time | On-site

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Controls Engineer, you’ll work independently on small to mid-sized automation projects and assist in executing large-scale systems. You’ll be hands-on with PLC/HMI programming, system integration, and commissioning.

What You'll Do:

• Develop PLC and HMI programs for industrial automation applications

• Perform system debugging, testing, and commissioning

• Create and review electrical schematics and layout drawings

• Collaborate with team members on multi-disciplinary projects

• Provide field support for installation and startup activities

What You Bring:

• 4+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation

• Proficient with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens

• Solid understanding of industrial control hardware and instrumentation

• Experience with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting systems

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
