Job Title: Training and Development – Skilled Trades

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Training and Development to lead and enhance our employee learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will design and implement training programs that improve skills, performance, and professional growth, aligning with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Design: Develop and manage training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, leadership, compliance, and soft skills for all employee levels.

  • Content Creation: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training materials using multimedia, e-learning, workshops, and virtual learning platforms.

  • Needs Assessment: Regularly assess skills gaps and training needs, staying updated on industry trends.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external training vendors and partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with department heads and executives to align training efforts with business strategies.

  • Compliance: Ensure training programs meet industry regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • NCCER certification preferred.

  • Proven experience in designing training for HVAC, Mechanical, and Electrical trades.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and e-learning tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with LMS and digital learning platforms.

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) are a plus.
