Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Level 3

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Level 3 Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This position is ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic capabilities, advanced technical knowledge, and a desire to continue growing within the trade.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Service and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers with reciprocating, scroll, or screw compressors

• Work with pumping systems, hydronics, gas/electric heating systems, and digital control systems

• Perform maintenance and repair of VAV air handlers, computer room units, WSHPs, and packaged units up to 100 tons

• Diagnose and service low-voltage control systems, DDC controls, and pneumatic systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot single and three-phase electrical systems

• Read technical service literature and documentation to perform work with minimal supervision

• Complete service documentation accurately using company-provided mobile tech

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Occasionally travel with overnight stays as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service

• Universal EPA Certification and Gas Fitters Card (Type I & Universal)

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet company driving standards

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems up to 100 tons, including controls and electrical components

• Proficient with service and repair of both small and large commercial equipment
