Accounts Payable Assistant

Join our team as an Accounts Payable Assistant, where you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating the financial operations. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll ensure seamless processing of invoices and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers and authorized purchasers to secure invoice approvals promptly.

Manage document intake, scanning, verification, and storage with meticulous attention to detail.

Review and edit documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of documents for internal and external stakeholders.

Regulate the flow of documents in and out of the department, optimizing efficiency.

Update and maintain vendor files on an annual basis.

Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies in vendor accounts and monthly statements.

Perform any additional duties as assigned to support the smooth functioning AP department.
Education:

High school diploma required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Job Requirements/Special Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
