As an Entry-Level Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our seasoned professionals in the successful execution of construction projects, with a mechanical plumbing, piping and commercial HVAC systems. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from commercial buildings to industrial facilities, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Assist in conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for project planning and execution.

Participate in the procurement process by preparing RFIs, RFPs, and evaluating subcontractor bids.

Support the coordination of project activities, including material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and equipment delivery.

Assist in the review of project drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Utilize project management software to track project progress, update documentation, and communicate with team members.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying any discrepancies and proposing solutions to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with field personnel to address any on-site issues and ensure timely resolution.

Support the commissioning and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring functionality and efficiency.

Maintain accurate project records, including meeting minutes, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Strong understanding of construction principles and HVAC systems.

Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Prior internship or co-op experience in construction or HVAC is a plus.
