Project Manager - Mechanical Contractors

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with Mechanical Contractor experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial construction project management, particularly in the mechanical sector. This individual will oversee projects ranging from $5-10 million, ensuring successful completion within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full life cycle of mechanical contractor projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with self-performing crews, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Lead and mentor project teams, including self-performing crews, to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Utilize Procore and Microsoft Suite software to track project progress, manage documents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing mechanical contract projects ranging from $5-10 million.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Suite software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience leading self-performing crews is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
