Manufacturing Engineer 

Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our production operations. This position requires evaluating manufacturing processes through comprehensive research programs, utilizing expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing productivity, material flow, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement Lean methodologies such as Standardized Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen/5S to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Provide input on product design for manufacturability, coordinating with design engineering teams.
  • Document and track cost savings and process improvements, ensuring alignment with targets.
  • Plan and execute facility and work cell layout modifications to optimize material and product flow.
  • Develop, design, and implement production tools and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support estimating function by providing labor and material cost estimates as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related roles.
  • Experience in development of fixtures & jigs.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Strong familiarity with Lean processes and methodologies.
  • High proficiency in blueprint reading and P&ID interpretation.

Education & Training:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
