Manufacturing Engineer
Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our production operations. This position requires evaluating manufacturing processes through comprehensive research programs, utilizing expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing productivity, material flow, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement Lean methodologies such as Standardized Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen/5S to drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.

Provide input on product design for manufacturability, coordinating with design engineering teams.

Document and track cost savings and process improvements, ensuring alignment with targets.

Plan and execute facility and work cell layout modifications to optimize material and product flow.

Develop, design, and implement production tools and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Support estimating function by providing labor and material cost estimates as required.
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related roles.

Experience in development of fixtures & jigs.

Proficiency in ERP systems.

Strong familiarity with Lean processes and methodologies.

High proficiency in blueprint reading and P&ID interpretation.
Education & Training:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.

3 or more years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering.

LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.

Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.

Understanding of fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
