Position: Corporate Controller - Construction Accounting

We're seeking a Corporate Controller with a deep understanding of construction accounting, AIA billing, and Work in Progress (WIP) reports. This role is pivotal in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and promoting financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee comprehensive accounting operations, focusing on accuracy in AIA billing, WIP reports, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Direct the AIA billing process, upholding industry standards and financial integrity.
• Develop internal controls to adhere to GAAP and regulatory requirements, enhancing financial reporting and analysis.
• Spearhead budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering an environment of efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in construction accounting with expertise in AIA billing and WIP reporting.
• Proficient in GAAP and construction-specific financial practices.
• Skilled in accounting software and ERP systems, particularly those related to construction.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of fostering strong internal and external relationships.
